No Change Pointer entries in BDCPV table for the Messagetype

Hi Friends,

My requirement is send the HRMD_A message type with few custom fields to the OIM connector after one hour

We already using HRMD_A message to send the data to another SAP system twice day.

to avoid more idoc messages to SAP ECC system, created custom message ZHRMD_A type by giving  HRMD_A05 as basic IDOC and IDOC extension ZHRMD_A05_EXT with custom fields.

I followed the below steps:

Activated the Change pointers from BD50 for the Custom Messagetype.

Manintained entries in BD60

Created Distribution Model, Partner profiles and RFC connections.

When i execute RBDMIDOC type with custom type there is no entries in BDCPV table.

Can you please tell me if i am missing any steps.

Thanks inadvance for your time.

Regards,

Santhoshi.

Aside from BD50, did you also activate 'Change Pointers Generally' through BD61 ?

Yes Ted, I did the activation in BD61 too. Entries are getting added in BDCP2 but not in the BDCPV.

Thanks & Regards,

Santhoshi

Please note that change pointers are no longer stored in BDCPV, but stored in BDCP2 instead as of SAP BASIS 711 (note 1244159).
