SAP Process Integration Designer in NWDS with Dual-Stack PI 7.31?

Hello,

I have a quick question for experts familiar with NWDS.

I have a dual-stack (ABAP+JAVA) PI 7.31 running and wanted to use SAP Process Integration Designer perspective in NWDS to access Integration Directory objects.

However, when I tried to access via NWDS, I get "Unsupported Version" message saying "SAP Process Integration Designer is supported for AEX usage type from release 7.31 onwards".

Does this mean that I can only use SAP Process Integration Designer perspective in NWDS with AEX (Java only) PI 7.31?

Hello All,

I need a version of NWDS to setup the iFlow. However, I cannnot find the perspective(Process Integration Designer). My NWDS version is 7.3 with 32bits and SP14. Below is screenshot.

Anyone know the reasons? There is no update When I check the update.

Yes, Raghuraman, I want to access ID. I have connected to ESR. But the version of NWDS 7.3 with 32bits SP14 cannot find the Perspective Process Integration Designer.

Please give me a advice, Raghuraman. Thank you so much.

Which version of PI your using Hubery?.

I doubt you can access PI 7.11 ID from NWDS.ID can be accessed from versions PI 7.31.

But I cannot find the Perspective . How to connect the ID of 7.11, or you mean I need to install NWDS of 7.11. I need below Perspective I mark as Red.

Unfortunately, if you are using PI 7.11, you cannot use any other NWDS version other than NWDS 7.11. That also means that you won't have access to all the new perspective (ESR, Process Integration Designer) and create iFlows because these are only available from NWDS 7.31 onwards which only works with PI 7.31 systems.

On PI 7.11, you need to manually create classical configurations or ICOs.

Thank you for your valuable sharing. You talked I cannot find the Perspective Process Integration Designer because of less version of PI. But you also talked the Perspective Process Integration Designer is only available for NWDS 7.31. In fact, I am not sure my NWDS is 7.3 or 7.31. Below is the screenshot.

Your NWDS is only 7.3. That perspective is only from 7.31 onwards (EHP1 of 7.3 as shown below)

Got it, Thank you so much Eng.  According to your links. I understand the NWDS 7.31 is available for PI 7.2CE, PI 7.3 and PI 7.31.

No! NWDS 7.31 can only be used for PI 7.31 or 7.4.

I faced this same earlier. You should download the NWDS from the below link with latest version for PI 7.31 and let us know.

I have the same problem that Jung. I downloaded the last version of the link you provide but I'm getting the same error: "SAP Process Integration Designer is supported for AEX usage type from release 7.31 onwards"

I checked out the version information of NWDS at help--> About... and it says the following:

SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio

SAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.3 SP08 PAT0002

¿Is that the correct version?

Anyway y checked for updates at Help--> Check for updates but it says that there are not updates to download.

¿Could you help me?

I think you can do with both versions. PI 7.3 (dual stack) has some limitation,  Please see this link
