Processing an inbound iDoc w/o XI

Hi,

I am trying to process an inbound iDoc (as flat file) in the R/3 system without using the XI.

1. Do I have to use function module 'EDI_DATA_INCOMING' in order to read a file ?

2. How can I start testing this scenario ?

• I already defined an outbound scenario from the R/3 system (so I have an iDoc flat file)
