How to change EAN on Sales Order items (VBAP-EAN11)

Hi experts, our challenge is the following:

1) we received wrong EANs from a vendor which were entered in the material master

2) sales orders were created where the (wrong) EAN was copied to the sales order item (VBAP-EAN11) from material master

3) EANs were corrected in material master

But the EAN field on the sales order is read-only in VA02. Change in MASS is not possible either.

How can we change the EAN on the sales order items?

Can you try to change that using BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE

You can use USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION at include MV45AFZZ. Hope it helps. Thanks.
