SAP GUI 7.20 - NwSapSetup.log - Return-Code: 48

We are trying to install SAP GUI 7.20. But as mentioned above, the NwSapSetup.log ends with the Return-Code: 48.

Does someone know the meaning of this return code ... or even better is someone able to provide a list of Return-Codes for SAP GUI.

Thanks in advance for advices like "have you increased the patch level of SAP GUI ..." - we have already done this.

Hi Christian,

The problem may occur if you are using Office 2010. If my assumption is correct, you will need to remove this outlook Add-on from your package - which is part of the General Add-On part.

Then save the package and try to install it again.

Hi Hugo,

I am sorry for the late response - need to salve my conscience.

The outlook Add-on regarding synchronization is included in our package but we do not use Office 2010 or higher - we use Office 2003 and 2007 in our environment.

Furthermore the logs do not wake the appearance that Office is the bad guy.
