CO-PA derivation based on record type

Hello,

I want to maintain a CO-PA derivation based on record type (e.g. "D" for cost centre settlements).

However, transaction KEDR does not offer that option.

Does anyone have an idea?

     I think this can be achieved via user exit COPA0001.

If VRGAR = 'D'

   then.....your business logon

Endif

You need to call the above code via an enhancement derivation step in KEDR

I also had this one in mind.

However, OSS 134889 says that this is not a vaible one (possible missmatches between CE1xxxx and CE4xxxx.

The note makes one scared, granted. However, we have been doing this for 10 years (using technical fields like vrgart and others) and have never encountered any problems.

Could you tell me how do you access on the technical fields in EXIT_SAPLKEDRCOPA_001.

I know that it's in the structure  I_COPA_ITEM but for example the field VRGAR is not filled.
