Dear Expert,
After Running SNP optimizer , APO create orders in daily basis as result from finite capacity
During the PP/DS Run apo delete all this orders and create one order to cover the demand
My Issue is :
If you use optimizer to make cross finite planning to consider and make finite capacity for production or transportation , it's working fine no problem but when you run PP/DS he not respect all what you did in SNP
what's the propose from doing all this in snp optimizer ??
Please I need clarification for this concept
Regards
Rami
Hi Rami,
That's the standard behavior. Within the production horizon, PP/DS has priority over SNP i.e. it deletes the existing orders (non-fixed) and recreate new ones.
If you want to retain your SNP orders, you need to convert them to PP/DS orders (t.code /sapapo/rrp_snp2ppds) and fix them before executing PP/DS run.
Thanks,
Rajesh

Dear Rajesh,
Thank you for taking time to response to my issue
Please suggest what should I do If I need to consider the transportation capacity by optimizer and as you know PP/DS not support the transportation capacity , and weekly lot size by PP/DS
so I need to run both
If I convert the the SNP order and fix the orders so I will not be able to plan in weekly lot size in PP/DS
Please advise
BR,
Rami
