Function module for Data Loading

Dear SDN,

Can you advice what is the function module that processes the data loading when pulling from R/3 into BW?

    Hi Mirella,

    Would you like to extract data from SAP R/3 to BW please follow the following steps:

    1. Goto SAP r/3:

    Transaction Code: SBIW

    Prepare the datasource in the tree structure:

    Business Warehouse -- > Post processing of Datasource --> Edit Datasources and appn hierarchy

    Add a Application component name and Save it..

    Dnt forget to rename it else it will be a big problem to identify the application component

    Then depends upon your Extraction create the datasource (Generic/Applicaton specific) under the application component you had created.

    2 . Back to BW

    Go to Source System --> Go to the R/3 Source system if present or create one -- > Click on overview from the context menu-->

    Then go to your Application component -->Context menu > Replicate DataSources >

    Then you can create infopackage and load the data..
