Hi,
i want to know, which t.code can i see the mapping details. say for example we have lot segments in ORDERS05 and each segment having lot of data elements. i want to know the mapping details of database field with segment element.
i know WE60 for documentation but where i can't find this relationship with database field.

Hi Vinod
I think I got the intention of him.
He want to know SAP get the data from which tables, that filled in IDOCs.
E.G. when system generate an IDOC ORDERS05, the content comes from which table, is there anyway to list the associated table?
I think maybe can search the fields name in 'Where-used list', or search a help from the one who is familiar with the IDOC and associated business workflow.
Actually, this question is just equivalent to the one search help for how to fill the i/p of a BAPI.
Hope it will be helpful
Thanks

Hi,
The IDoc data are stored in the tables
Control Record: EDIDC
Data Record: EDID2 (IDoc Data Record from 3.0C onwards)
EDID3 (IDoc Data Record from 3.0 onwards)
EDID4 (IDoc Data Records from 4.0 onwards)
Status Record: EDIDS
The segment data in the table EDID* is stored in a field called EDI_SDATA and is of type LCHAR (Long character string).
Thanks
Vinod

Hi Vinod,
in WE31 i can't see the database table name. i can see only the data element. my question is, is there any t.code use for display the DB table name along with details of segment field.
say for example when i enter the basic type such as ORDERS05. i want to see the related database table name along with field name. is there any t.code ?
Regards,
Selva.
