Promotion Management Unexpected Error Decoding JSF Components

Hi there,

When I try to create a new promotion job in BI4.0 SP5 on Windows server I get the following error after selecting to promote and then return to the promotion jobs folder and press refresh.  Also,  of the saved jobs are NOT displayed

'Unexpected Error Decoding JSF Components'

This occurs in IE9 and Firefox now when I try from DEV to QA or QA to PD... 

I have tried from multiple computers and even on a broswer from  the windows server

I had been able to complete a a few promotion jobs before.

Ok, so I am new to BI4 and promotion manager and have to tell you that I am not a fan.  The web application is very slow to transport even just a couple dashboards.  Is this the only way to move objects in BI4?

Any advice is appreciated!

Solution is to apply BI 4.0 Support Pack 5 Patch 4

Hi, I also recommend viewing KBA 1791078 and attending the EGI as Dev to QA, QA to Prod doesn't follow the best practice.
