Parallel Loads

We started 4 jobs with 4 different InfoPackages in bacground, each with different selection criteria for the same DataSource 0EC_PCA_3, and they occupied 8 DIA processes in BW Production system. We have 13 DIA processes and 5 BFD processes, apart from 3 UPD, 1 ENQ, q SPO, 1 UP2.

Performance of BW was affected. Our BASIS says that 4 jobs cannot be started simultaneously in BW Production for loads.

Is this true ? I am under impression that we can use parallelism.

Are there any SAP AG recommendations for maximum number of InfoPackages that can be started simultaneously.
