Dear All,
We have one scenario, my one of the raw material is receipted in KG but the physically sampling done in GM. As per standard SAP system sample size UOM which we get in stock posting tab is same with the base unit of measure. Now inspection lot created is for 121 KG and physically samples tested for the 235.60 GM. In stock posting tab i can enter like 0.235 KG, because system is only allowing 3 decimals But what about the extra 60 milligrams to be posted in samples.
How to post it.
Regards
Amit Patil
Maintain in the inspection plan the UOM you desire to do your sampling in.
In the header of the inspection plan, change the UOM from KG to G. If you change an existing plan, you'll have to also change the UOM shown at the operation level, and for each characteristic.
If you use any non-standard UOM's, you must make sure the conversion factors are maintained in the material master. I.e. CASE to EACH or BOX to EACH.
