Confirmation Reject notification not sent, workflow completed

Hi,

We are on SRM 702 SP 4    SAPK-70204INSRMSRV, we are using process controlled workflow.

When a confirmation is rejected by approver , i am facing following problems:

1. Workflow gets completed., i have referred OSS note 1483828 -
   How to display the workflow log for an SRM document.
2. No notification is sent to requester via program /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND.
3. Creator of Confirmation gets to see Confirmation in POWL with status release rejected, but no workitem is seen in creator's UWL inbox.

Is it a bug or a standard feature for confirmation workflow?

Hi Ashish,

Kindly check whether mail notifications genearated in SCOT or not? if generated and it's not going to user then check user mail id in SU01 and run these reports RSCONN01 / RSWUWFMLEC.

You can check the program RSALERTPROC  to get an alert messages depends on the alert category.

Hi Ashok,

I am not getting any mail notifications in SOST and SCOT for confirmation rejection.

I tried running program RSALERTPROC , however i need some authorization for running this program, i will get back to you once i get the needed authorizations.

In my workflow as of now i have not set any acceptance by contact person, i am referring to this link:

Do you think i need to add acceptance by contact person to get a work item in the user's inbox in case of rejection?

I recently approved one of the confirmation.

While running the report RSALERTPROC , with following details , i am not getting any output:

Is there any specific configuration that i need to maintain is missing?

Hi Ashish,

I am able to resolve my issue. Now, when a approver reject a confirmation, a notification is sent to the user who created the confirmation.

Issue is resolved by implementing the badi BBP_ALERTING for BUS2203 on the event APPROVAL_PROCESS_DOC_REJECTED.

As per the SPRO configuration Define Recipient Notifications it is not possible to send the rejection notification for a confirmation since there is no standard task available for rejection of a confirmation. Please refer the below URL for the same.
