SRM User Interface Add-On 1.0

Hi,

I was hoping someone could shed some light on how to find the Master Guide for the SRM UI Add-On 1.0. This SAP note:

gives directions to the Master guide but I cannot see it there. Is it still in Ramp-Up? Or am I just not seeing it due to my permissions? I also can't seem to find it in the PAM?

I notice that is listed as the Contact/Solution Owner in this presentation... Michael can you help?

Hi Simon,

You are correct, SRM UI Add-on is still on Ramp up. I have got information from Mike Jud as follow; Hope this will help.

Mike also posted blog on OCI 5 http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-35441 which will help with SRM UI Add-ons.

We had 6 customers who tested the UI add-on as part of our customer validation process.  As a result of the customer validation, we received feedback on areas where we thought casual users might get confused.  Thus, we decided to do some additional development to close those gaps.  The new target date for Ramp Up is April 10.

Ramp Up will begin April 10.  We typically do not release the RKT (Resource Knowledge Transfer) material until the beginning of Ramp Up when we release to the customer.

Thank you all for your responses.

can you tell me the current status? Is the add-on now generally available? My company has access now and we have it installed but honestly their still seem to be quite a few notes and we are struggling a bit getting it up and running. Any help, advice and guidance you can give would be great.

Update: I think I just found the answer to my own question in the PAM It looks like it is in "Restricted Release/Ramp-UP" with a planned Beta Release on August 10th 2013...

The SRM UI Add-On is currently in Ramp Up.  Ramp Up is KPI driven.  We are just waiting on some cutomer go-lives to fulfill our KPIs.  We have customers going live in July and August so we hope to complete our KPIs by end of August. 

3 most important resources for the implementation of SRMNXP :

1. SRM Master Guide :  service.sap.com/srm-inst à SAP SRM UI Add-on
2. SAP Notes  : 1752753 (for Installation planning), 1760438 (Release Info note with all dependencies), 1830075 (User defined fields enablement), 1848843 (Sizing)
3. Configuration PPTs :

Service.sap.com/rkt-srm  à Consulting à SAP SRM User Interface Add-on 1.0 à Select your learning map- Consultants

There are 5 PPTs here  to explain the SRMNXP features and Configuration.

The links are shortcuts on the Service Marketplace.  The service markeplace is service.sap.com.  The shortcuts for the rkt material are /rkt or /rkt-srm.  The shortcuts for the installation/master guide information is /instguides.

Hi Michael,

I was hoping you might be able to give me some indication of when Support Package 2 will be made available for download from the SMP? When I look at some of the notes that apply to this I can see that Support Package 2 contains 189 notes, it would be nice if we could get these notes all in one package rather than having to download individually.

But as you can see the "Download to PC" and "Add to download basket" links are inactive currently.

SP02 is planned for August 15, 2013 and will incorporate all notes to simplify the product installation.

Hi Simon,

I don't think the content is available yet in sap service market.

I've necessary authorizations but still unable find the SAP SRM User Interface Add-On in mentioned path.

Since the content is related to "Procurement Innovations from SAP See it in Action", still it is in Ramp-Up status.
