Web login not completing

Hi all,

I have the following system at a client:

BPC 10 on NetWeaver 7.31, the system components show up as:

Software Component Release Level

SAP_* (incl PI_Basis) 731 0005

CPMBPC 801 0000

POASBC 100_731 0000

In SMICM the HTTP port is activated and on port 8000 (this is a test system so the Basis guys haven't enabled HTTPS)

If I connect to the default logon page at: http://<servername>:8000/sap/bpc/web, then I get the correct logon page & sucessfully logon, however the next page (BPC Home page), never loads. The process stops at:

I have tried from 3 different clients on MS IE 8, 32 and 64 bit, MS IE 9.0, 32 and 64 bit, and get the same result.

Trying with Chrome gets me to the BPC home page, but no content loads as so (the "content" section remains blank):

I have disabled Windows Firewall all 3 systems (2 x Windows 7 64 bit, 1 x Windows XP 32 bit), as well as diabling all virus checking.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Flash from Adobe's site and other flash content works.

Last week this worked, and according to the logs no-one has changed anything ...

Anyone have any suggestions as to what I can check?

Thanks,

Peter Bellis

      Hi All,

      Feedback ...

1stly, Roberto, your 3rd link wasn't the issue.

2ndly ... the issue seems to be (can't prove it as it has now disappeared), an http proxy issue, as the affected clients were ones being routed "outside" the DMZ for the network. Not being a network techie I'm a bit fuzzy on what was happening, but when they added the BPC server to the list NOT to be redirected, the problem disappeared.

Hope that helps someone else in future
