SAP Data Migration to Excel, Access or ... ?

May be You could give me some advise.

One of our Clients will migrate SAP Data to Access or Excel, because of no possibility to use SAP in the future.

May be You now how we could do it and what tools should we use for it ?

this is no joke. I don't know WHY our client can't use SAP in the future, but I have got this task to find solution for SAP-data transfer and story in Access or Excel!

There are some third party tools such as TxShuttle & TablePro provided by Winshuttle (http://www.winshuttle.com) which should be able to help you. They seem to fairly easy to use.

Hi Erika,

It has to be a very small company which flirted with SAP and couldn't get the ROI. But still feel they should move to some other ERP meant for small companies. All the important data can be downloaded to CSV (comma separated) files and used for excel/access or for migration to other ERP. I don't think there is any such tool avialable.

I think that is the joke for the weekend? What data does the client need in future? What modules of R/3 has he used?
