1) Input value as you wish or remove default value in QA32 initial screen.

eg) input '1000' on plant field and remove '100' on maximum no. of hits field and lot created on field.

2) Click 'Save' icon, then variant attributes screen will be shown.

Change field status as you wish.

eg) Hide 'Lot created on' and 'Maximum no. of hits'

3) Input 'U_user ID' on variant name and any text on meaning field.

eg) input 'U_SRABAN' on name and 'Selection screen for Sraban' on meaning

Save and now the default variant is set for your user ID.

If you want to set default variant for all user, you have to configure it in IMG and transport.

Dear Maheswaran,

I need to change the default setting in the previous screen, once we enter QA32, the first screen displayed as Inspection Lot Selection. How to remove the date and maximum no of hits.

There is a place in config to do that for QA32/33 for all users.

QM-->Quality Inspection-->List Definition-->Define Variants (List View Function)

From config the variant will be saved as SAP&TCODE_QA32 or SAP&TCODE_QA33.

If you follow DoWook's instructions, and you have the administrator rights, you can save a variant you create in the QA32 or QA33 screen as SAP&TCODE32 or SAP&TCODE_QA33 from here as well.

These variants then apply to all users when they call QA32/33 unless they have created their own personal variants.
