Hi,
My HANA trial DB seems stuck in "STARTED" mode but is not usable. I wanted to stop and restart it since it was about to auto-stop but since then, it is looping trying to stop it.
I cannot force it to stop so it's now unusable and as been that way since 3 days.
I'm I the only one having this problem? WHat can be done to restart my DB?

I got another problem. I am not able to start HANA MDC since 03.01.2017. I think it's a general problem that has to be solved from SAP experts.

Thanks for your reply. I saw your other post yesterday and tried to reply to it but was unable(bug with the new SCN). I will follow your post also to see when this will be solve. Hope it will be soon.

Hey David,
unfortunately the problem is still not solved. I hope that any expert reads the thread and will handle this problem soon. I have to start the database within every 12 hours the last two weeks it is kinda annoying. I got some serious code in the database environment and can not risk to drop it.
When there is any change I will inform you but I think you will recognize it too because of the 12 hour delete counter...

Yes, still not corrected on my side either. I am hopefully "lucky" not having the deletion counter issue as mine is looping wrong STARTED mode. I just don't know where to post/contact SAP support for these kind of issue as it's only a trial environment. Only hope is someone from SAP sees our posts.
Yeah I don't know it either otherwise i would have opened a ticket for that. You're lucky the reset of the deletion counter is very annoying.
Meanwhile it's like brushing teeth in the morning and the evening for me ;-)
