Datasource dimensions in Listbox/Dropdown

Hi,

I want to create a listbox or dropdown box which lists all the Dimensions (NOT MEMBERS) of a data source. Also, is there a way to show the filtered items from a filter panel in the crosstab. For example if I choose product1 from filter panel and submit it, I want to be able to show product1 as a row in the crosstab.

Hi,

It is not possible to incude all the dimensions in dropdown / listbox.

Filter panel is the only option available currently to show more dimensions.

The selected value can be shown in crosstab.

In your case include the product dimension in crosstab. in the filter panel, add the corresponding DS in target. It works.

Hey Swaroop,

I have tried to get this done, but it appears that it is not possible in the current version of Design Studio (1.1) as yet (unless any of the pros have found a way that I'm not aware of). The only way this seems to be possible right now is to manually load the dimensions that you want as items within the listbox/dropdown at the application design level. We'll have to wait and see if SAP includes this feature in their next iteration.
