Automatic Batch Creation in Movement Type 309

Hi all,

How can I activate the automatic batch creation when doing transfer material to material (Movement Type 309)

The indicator of creation new batch is set to "Automatic / no manual creation" for Movement Type 309

And in T-Code OMJJ, the same settings in done.

But when doing Transfer material Movement Type 309, the system is asking to enter a batch manually.

Actually the Batch indicator is set to "Batch unique at material level"

It's asking you for the batch of the "from" material.  Correct?

It will automatically assign a new one for the "to" material.

It's working properly for the "From" material.

But it's not working for the "To" material. The below error message appears:

"Stock determination/batch determination not possible"

I think "Stock determination/batch determination not possible " is something different than automatic batch creation. This sounds like you are trying to search for a target batch number instead of creating a new one.

Can you explain what you clicked and what you enter/remove manually when doing MIGO?

Sorry my mistake. I was trying other scenario.

I clicked the Stock Determination button.

When I enter the batch for the "From" material, it's copied automatically to the "To" material.

Whereas i need the system to create the batch automatically for the "To" material.

that the batch number is copied over is standard functionality, what happends if you remove it then and hit enter?

Nothing happens.

But if I press the "Check" button, the Batch will be automatically copied to the "To" material.

This standard  functionality of copying from material batch to, to material batch is not happening what might be the reason ?

System is not allowing to enter manually also triggering  error message "batch is already used  by another material. But its asking to create a new batch with internal number range to "to Material"
