Dear sd Masters
I have some confusion Regarding OVAK and OVAD
I know we can block documents at sales order level in OVAK AND
in OVAD WE CAN Block the documents At delivery level and pgi level
OK Now my majar confusion is IN OVAK We can maintain Last field Credit Group it tells Order block,, Or Delivery Block, Pgi Block
It means if we select Delivery block system carryes check in delivery level , or pgi level
And ovad also same here we can block 2nd field Delivery Order block or others and GI Group it tells also same
So finally we can control delivery block or PGI block in ovak also But what is the difference
Please i am Requesting to clarify my doubt in simple terms .....
Dear Malini
Difference is that in OVAK credit check is implemented at the time of order creation in VA01. In OVAD credit check is executed at the time of PGI in VL01N.
Thanks

Dear
No we maintain 01 only Sale order level credit check in OVAK. Although in drop down list you are seeing credit control groups but we maintain Sales order only. If you check in VOV8 we maintain this credit group there in Credit group field under general control tab. This is used just to group a number of SD Sales document types to a single group.
Thanks

Dear
If you read F1 help of this field it clearly tells that this field is to group different SD documents for credit check. Now if you are talking about OVAK then it is assigning credit check to sales order types then we will always use 01 group in standard here.
In OVAD you can use 02 or 03 based on your requirement.
Thanks
