Error sending PMI records: 401-Unauthorized

Hi all,

In my server log I see the error message 'Error sending PMI records to http://<host>:8000/sap/bc/spi_gate, HTTP response: 401Unauthorized. Please check the HTTP destination "pmistore".'

I checked the pmistore in the J2EE admin, everything is correct according to the installation guide. I even changed XIRWBUSER to XISUPER hoping that it will have some effect. After restarting the J2EE engine the same problem occured again.

Hi denies,

Try to change the client in visual administrator> services>destination>pmistore>here by mistake you gave 600 client i think.because i am facing the same problem. so try to change the client and restart the instance and then check.

I have the same problem. I already checked user and password, so there must be something else.

Hi Denis,

Try opening from this URL from your Browser. Use the same User/Password as used in PMI store.

If everything is alright, It should display a blank page.

Good idea!

It did not work. After canceling I saw the following:

Logon failed

[...]

1. Logon performed in system J2E .

2. Logon performed for client 600, user XIRWBUSER , and language EN

It should be a logon attempt for client 000 and not 600. How can I change that?
