Get default date format of a user in Analysis Office

Hi All,

Is there any way to get user default date format(SU01) in analysis office?like (dd.mm.yyyy)

Requirement :

I have query with date info objects variables Start Date and End Date as a filter , from these i can extract the dates for example like 11.12.2014 and 07.12.2015 in AO workbook.

Now in these dates which is extracted from BW query, i need to identify the date format(like dd.mm.yyyy) so that i can add some more days or month to these dates and use these incremented dates for setting filter for the data sources.

As each user might have different formats configured for the dates in SU01, is there any way to extract the date format of a user in Analysis office workbooks?

Hi,

normally if you set a filter or variable you need the date Format YYYYMMDD, so you have to build and split your date with VBA for example.
