BDC - Property Tree

Hi,

Can we upload the following through BDC.

1. Identifiers (header)

2. Property Tree Data

in Specification Workbench.

Hi Sanjay,

BDC is not the correct option to load the substance data.

You can use import tool - CG33, which accepts only in "dat" format.

and also "Data editior" can be used with XLS and other formats.

If the data maintained in any legacy system, IDOCs also a best option.

Dear Sanjay

there is an OSS note available indicating that BDC is not supported in EH&S environment. Therefore the options as listed by Kamal are the rights once. Regarding IDOC you could triy to use:

a.) XI/PI to load data into EH&S

b.) I believe LSMWW might be an option as well because it can generate IDOCs as well

therefore you should use the options as mentioned by Kamal
