Process chain question

Dear Experts,

I need a suggestion in making a process chain. I have an ODS thats loaded everyday. The data has to be loaded into the cube only after 15 days. Now my problem is how can I make the chain run till the ODS every day and then the loading cube every 15 days? Is there any way I can have them in the same process chain? or do I need to make another process chain just for loading the cube making the initial chain as a local chain or anything like that?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi

You can create two sub local process chain.Let the first one load the ODS and the second one load the cube. For the 2nd local chain make sure that the start variant is selected as direct scheduling and in the period value select others and put the days as 15 and see to that if the result of this process triggers and new PC then u can link it to the 1st PC

I have a doubt regarding your requirement.

actually you what you said is you have to load the data in to ODS everyday and adn after 15days you have to laod in to cube... does that mean after first 15 days , data is loaded in to cube on every day. OR is it that cube is loaded for every 15 days and ODS on each day.

Thanks Sudeeptha, kash and Ashwin. What my requirement is that I have to load data into ODS everyday but every 15 days, the data is loaded into cube. I guess what Kash said is the best way for the time being.I would appreciate any other alternatives. Also please excuse me for my late reply.

Splitting them into two process chains is one solution.
