AS92 Takeover values

Hello,

We have an issue when using AS92 to change legacy data takeover values.   In our Quality client we can change the asset value fields, in Production client the fields are greyed out and cannot be changed.

The configuration is the same in both clients and the user authorization is also the same.

Any ideas what to look for?

Hi Dan,

You may have already resolved the issue but if not look at OABC transaction. The main reason why the takeover values are not ready for input is because they are adopted from the depreciation area mentioned in this transaction and the identical checkbox is ticked.. Hope it helps. Thanks.

Hi Dan,

This can happen due to different reason. Please check the following.

1. Data take over status for the company code. if you kept Data take over is complete system will not allow you to access the transaction. Then you have to re-open and do the posting.
2. Financial year for FA is closed and data take over date is back dated ( this is closed to your reason) Production may be Financial year is closed and in QA it is not carried out so this can be one of the difference. check in  Transaction : OAAQ which is the closed Fiscal Year.
3. Check the asset number which you are referring is active and have the value is available.
4. Also check the authorization for the UID by recreating the same profile in QA Client.

Hi,

Check your legacy migration date. You have to move foward to have this field enable.

Asset Accounting > Asset Data Transfer > Parameters for Data Transfer > Date Specifications > Specify Transfer Date/Last Closed Fiscal Year
