Master Data Replication to S/4 HANA

Hi Experts,

I am new to S/4 HANA.

We want to use S/4 HANA as central system to hold Master Data (only). In our landscape there are numerous ERP (SAP & Non-SAP) systems, where we want to cleanse & transform all master data relevant to Purchasing function.

We would like to know best approach to load the data (like SLT, etc.).

Kindly help on this based on previous experience.

SLT is not something that's built to load/replicate master data. It will help you load the data, but there will be no consistency. For eg: You can load a MARC record without loading the MARA record.
A lot of precautions will need to be taken to load master data using SLT.

I would suggest to load the master data using BODS (SAP Data Services). The latest version (4.2) of this also gives you the near real time (not as fast as SLT though) functionality of transferring records to target system.
