InfoPackage

I have created an InfoPackage and requested an immediate load to PSA. The load is still running but if I look at the monitor in the Details tab it is giving me a red square and errors occurred with the transfer. How can I stop this request running without affecting any other requests that may have been requested? Thanks

Hi Niten,

Cancel with core

You cancel a work process; a core file is created, which you can view using Transaction ST11.

Cancel without core

You cancel a work process, and a core file is not written.

Thanks Dinesh, I have tried both options and the process is still showing has running in the InfoPackage and although the process that I cancel is cancelled, the next process when I go back to SM50 shows my name as the user.

Not forgotten about the points

Hi Niten,

I have not tried that but most probably the process will continue to run even though the infopackage is deleted.

Hi Niten,

Talk to your BASIS then..There might be case of Data Overflow. Just tell them you are not able to stop the process.

Hi Dinesh,

Sorry but the InfoPackage is on the Sandbox. If I delete it will the process automatically terminate or will it continue to run. Do you recommend. Thanks

Hi Niten,

You can alternatively try "Cancel with Core".

Hi,

first u wait to finish ur request.. that may trun to to grren once the request is finished. So wait to finish the load. No need to kill that job..

I have cancelled without core but the process (which has my user id) is still running. Is there a time lag? Also how do I know none of the other processes are mine. Thanks

Hi Niten,

The load would have stopped automatically.

Still you can cancel the job. The job name cane be found in the infopackage "scheduler" tab. Go to sm37, select the job and cancel.

If the scheduling was run in dialog mode(i.e immediate) then go to sm50 and find the process (you can see the time taken as a hint for identifying the process) and from the menu option select "cancel withoout core".

Hope this helps.

Bye
