Hi Gurus,
Does any one know how to read the transport log with specific date and time?
Hello,
there's a program RDDPROTT and several function units beginning with TR_LOG (e.g. TR_LOG_OVERVIEW_REQUEST), but the drawback: they all need the transport number or at least a selection of transport numbers.
So you would have to read first the transports into an internal table and then in a loop the transport protocols checking them by date.
This will last a minute or two...
The other way around: Via transaction AL11 to /usr/sap/trans/log and read the directory. But if you have a normal transport directory there hundreds or thousands of logs. It'll last a while too.
Think the main problem is that the transport logs are files on a directory and not organized by date. In SE03 you'll see the Change Date of a transport but not the import date.
Hope it helps you a bit
Wolfgang

Set the date & execute the transaction. next screen will display all the related transport. Select and press F6 to see the logs.
