How to download sap_gui_730

Hello community,

I'm a self taught newbie trying to install sap gui 7.3 on linux to connect to an IDEs server .

My problem is that I'm neither a partner nor a client (I'm at the learning stage), so I cannot create myself a market place login.

Is it possible to download PlatinGUI-Linux-730.jar without a marketplace login? if yes, please tell me how

No, I'm afraid it isn't. Who provides the IDES server you are using? They presumably have access to the service marketplace and can supply the JavaGUI to all legitimate users of their systems.

Thanks for your answer;my IDES provider is Consolut. They do not provide the java gui

I'll keep searching.

Can you use the webgui with it? It might not work well for the activities you need, but if it does it would avoid having to install a local GUI at all. You'll need to ask Consolut if it is supported, and what URL to use. Worth a try.
