Issue with Trial Print option via ME9F transaction

Hi Basis Expert,

When we give trial printout via transaction ME9F  or Output message options in ME9F.it is not generating a pop -up

(SAPLPD screen  grey in colour).I have found few inconsistencies in spool requests and deleted all the inconsistencies via

SP12. Further, i have ran RSPO0041 and RSPO0043 for spool inconsistencies and spool check,it seems that that there are

no inconsistencies now and old spool requests

Still we are facing the issues when we give trial printout via ME9F and it is not generating the SAPLPD screen .
Let me know if any solutions can be given to this ASAP.

I have assigned the LOCL printer to the user too.

Hi,

Can you verify the user settings in SU01.  Make sure that the 'Output Immediately' is selected and then re-login and try again.

Hi,

  As far as I know it is not the problem with the Spool inconsistencies.

Please check  whether the printer is working in OS level correctly.

SAPLPD should be running so that you can have the printout done.

Secondly, SAPLPD usually waits for certain predefined time waiting for the request. Once it gets the request, it will forward the request to OS to process it.

I would suggest you to update your OS printer driver and check.

I have send a message to SAP on this and i go the reply from them.Below is the reply.

For problems with the SAPLPD window, SAPLPD is no longer the supported
method. We now have much more reliable methods for Frontend print.
that do not rely on SAPLPD.

For Frontend printing please use Access Method G instead of F (uses
sapfprint, see Note #821519)

Hi All,

I want to get the screen as per the below one.Let me know why this below SAPLPD window is not opening properly.It seems that SAPLPD window is having issues

I could get this SAPLPD window at few times and at sometime i could not see it if i give trial printout

Let me know if anyone can give me a solution to this
