Hi,
In PCUI, we can attach word/ excel documents. But we are not able to open the document by clicking on it, modify it & save it back (we can do this in SAP GUI). Is there any notes or configuration settings to be done for this. I am more interested in attaching & opening an Excel sheet than a Word Document. I guess for Word Documents there are buttons to modify...but none for excel. Even for when i try to open the Word Document attachment, I get the following error message "Office application could not be started ".
Any insight or though would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance,

Thanks for the response. I checked the Form you mentioned. But it talks more towards MS Word & not MS Office all togther nor MS Excel. Also, i did the necessary things mentioned. I could attach any kinds of documents but our main concentration is toward attaching, Opening & Editing the MS Excel workbook in the Attachments Tab in Marketing Planner. Can you please porivde any more insight in this regard.

as I remember from our project curently it's only possible to open and save back a Word File as an attachment. If you want to use this function also for Excel you must implement it with SAP in a Consulting project. We told our users to download the document and update it after they made the changes.
