Dear Expets,
My Master data loads are all fialing with the error, Message text -"Too many error records- update terminated",ID "RSM2", No "706". Detailed description is as follows:
Diagnosis More than 1001 records have been flagged as incorrect. There is probably a system error.
System response
For performance reasons, the system terminates the update and additional checks.
Procedure The errors that have occurred so far can be displayed in the PSA.
Analyze and correct the errors, and restart the update.
If you do not want the update process to terminate as soon as the system registers 1001 errors, you can change the number of errors that you want the system to tolerate. You do this in the scheduler on the Update Parameters tabstrip under Error Handling.
Thank you very much.
Visu,
Check the detail of error mesg in the error mesg handling tab.
Also check your PSA with any records with yellow or red color.
Those records are the record giving you problem

Hai Rohini and Bhanu,
Thanks for the reply. I checked the PSA and there are many records with invalid characters like "kº»wYÆ ¼Ã®xX 3%". I have no idea why they have this Name field of a customer. I don't think they are permitted or the way they are entered in R/3. What can I do to resolve this problem. There arre infact many records in PSA that have red dot on the side.
Can u advise me as to what could be done?
Thank you very much.
Hi Visu,
If there are many such records may be you shoudl see what's going on in the R/3 Customer master and try to get in touch with the person responsible for maintaining these values. This should give you an idea as to whether the 'garbage' values you see are correct and need to be dealt with in BW, or may be the data in R/3 is incorrect.
Hope this helps...
Hi Visu,
First of all, make sure that you have correct mapping for this IO in TRs.
If yes, then probably you'll need to figure out what the language for a customer name was used and check if this language's symbols are permitted in RSKC.
Best regards,
Eugene

Hi Visu,
It appears that you ahve error handling set up in your InfoPackage related to this load. If you want the systemn to continue the load and processing even after it encounter 1000 error records, you need to change the number of error recorsd allowed. Else you need to see what data is causing the error and eliminate it at teh source.
Hope this helps...
