The sap standard menu does not load based on security build. Look at transaction SE43N and extending the r/3 menu (I think S000). You can probably search scn for the steps

Sap_all has nothing to do with this

Hello Rohi,

The way you're visualizing the user menu is the standard one. That TRM structure was surely created manually.

Best regards,

Hi Guys,

thanks for your reply,

1)under FSCM ->

Treasury and Risk Management  should appear, but it not there.

2) when i look in spro - its not appearing

3)when i user tcode TRM  ->structure as shown in previous post image comes,

so how to bring that structure under FSCM, OR in separate  menu.

kindly suggest on this,

regards,

Rohi

Hi Rohi

A bit of a summary of what quite a few participants on this thread are saying and some options

Question: Do you want to add your FSCM to the SAP standard menu (all users will see it) OR do you want to allocate it to specific users (user menu)? This will determine your solution

Executing the transaction TRM suggests you have an area menu configured and you are switching to it. I suspect if you try to look at the TRM in transaction SE93 you will get a message advising you. When you run TRM your menu switching to this value. If you got to SE43N and look at TRM it will come up.

Summary of what's been said and a bit of an extension

Information on the Menus

There are two menus:

1. The SAP EASY ACCESS Menu - standard (Crtl + F11). This is controlled by SE43N S000 OR the area menu assigned to the user master in SU01 (refer below)

2. The User Menu (Crtl + F10) - this is based on PFCG roles assigned to user

These buttons/short cuts can be switched on and off via table SSM_CUST:

ALL_USER_MENUS_OFF - NO (default), YES or 'X'   - Do not Display User Menu on Easy Access Screen (Note 380029)

CUSTOMER_MENU_OFF    NO (default), YES or 'X' - Do Not Display Customer Menu on Easy Access Screen  (Note 380029)

William Dunkerley pointed this out in his response to you already

Configuration Overview

1. Transaction SE43N is used to build area menus. Within SE43N you can do the following:

----> Extend the S000 menu (SAP R/3 menu) and add your FSCM into it. This is will change the SAP Standard Easy Access Menu which you have in your screen shot

---> Build a new area menu with what you want (I suspect this is TRM)

---> Copy S000 and add the TRM (overcomes concerns raised about upgrades wiping out your configuration but creates risk that you won't get new values)

Extending the S000 menu will result in ALL USERS OBTAINING the MENU from the SAP Easy Access Menus

2. Transaction PFCG to build a custom role and build the area menu in the menu tab. Assign this to the user.

Assigning Custom Role will result in ONLY USERS WITH THE ROLE get the menu and it will apply to their User Menu not the SAP Easy Access Menu

3. Allow users to build their own favourites - THIS WILL ONLY SHOW IN THE FAVOURITES for the USERS WHO MAINTAIN IT - doubt this is what you want

Area Menu Notes

You can set a default area menu on a user's account in SU01. You could build you own area menu in SE43n and assign that to the user on the Defaults Tab for "START MENU". This would apply to the users who have that value and will display when the login.

I recommended SE43N in my first post based on your screen shot. But you need to figure out what you are trying to update here - the SAP Easy Access Menu OR the User Menu

If you are going to change S000 in SE43N it might be worth discussing with your developer or configuration specialist if your background is only security. Search SCN for Area Menu changes, SE43N and you will find some comments about the risk of overwriting changes and how best to proceed. For example, SCN blog http://scn.sap.com/thread/671886

Hi,

You say you've added the folders to a role menu but that the change is not appearing in the menu when you logon?

From your screenshot it seems that you are displaying the standard SAP menu, which is not derived from the roles that a user is assigned, and therefore will not reflect the changes that you have made to the user role. You need to switch to the User menu in order for the menu to be derived from the roles assigned to the user, which you do by clicking the icon on the far left of your screenshot (person wearing green).

It looks as though this icon is disabled in your screenshot, so you may want to check SSM_CUST for the parameter ALL_USER_MENUS_OFF. Obviously you need to review this in development and transport any changes in roles and SSM_CUST to your production system.

If you know what you are doing, you can edit the SAP default menu (standard SAP menu) using SE43 (area menu FSCM for Financial Supply Chain Management), but like the warning will surely reads: Changes could be lost in the future.

According to me, the good practice will be to use the User menu to display your custom folder to people who have the required authorization objects / access to the transactions you write up there (see PFCG in Menu tab)

IMHO, granting SAP_ALL to users is always bad idea.
