Export iDoc type structure to copybook format (cobol)

Hi,

I want to export an iDoc definition and it should be in copybook format (cobol).

  • I was told that it can be done using the SXDA (search the string "cobol idoc" in help.sap.com)

Can I do it somehow ?

please advise,

Thanks, Nir.

Go to WE60 transaction and enter your IDoc type and extension type and click on the menu <b>Documentation -> Parser or F9</b>.

I should deliver the iDoc structure in copybook format. I don't think that the parser is related to copybook/cobol.

please correct me if i'm wrong.

    • moreover I was told that it can be done using the 'Data transfer workbench', but I don't know how.

    Thanks, Nir.
