Estimado, el puerto 1433 es el que trae por defecto B1if y es por donde se comunica con SQL Server.
Puedes cambiar este puerto en la instalación si usas otro puerto para SQL o si no quieres hacer eso, para dejar el 1433 como puerto de comunicación debes ir a:
SQL Server configuration manager > SQL Server network configuration > Protocols for MSSQLSERVER > Clic derecho en TCP/IP > IP Addresses > IP All TCP Port = 1433

Felipe, asi configuramos en el SQL server configuration manager y nos siguio mostrando el mismo error.
La solucion a esto fue volver a instalar SQL, al parecer el que lo instalo tuvo un error en el collation o que tenia 2 instancias de SQL el cliente.
Instalamos SQL 2008 R2, SAP 8.82, PL10 y sin problemas instalamos B1if.
