CRM Attributes for BP data


we would like to add attributes to our BP data which would allow us to segment and target specific leads/prospects and customers. We provide computer repair services to maintenance organisations and need to know contact people who have specific manufacturers hardware under contract. There could be say 100 different brands of hardware (IBM, HP, Dell, Fujitsu, Cisco, Epson,Canon, etc etc) and the BP could have many of these under contract at anyone time, so we would like these are searchable terms so we can query records that have several OEMs under contract, for example list all records that have IBM and/or Dell under contract because we have special offers on repairs of their hardware.

What is the best way of managing these attributes of a BP?
