Solved: Outllook Mail - CRM

Hello Friends,

Good Day.

My Clients requires to have existing mail from outlook exchange sever along with mails, attachments and folder structure (private & shared) and make it available in SAP CRM business workspace or CIC agent inbox. After cutover, they are not going to use outlook anymore.

Has this been done by any one before. If any development is required for this, how should be our approach and what kind of time frame and efforts are we looking at.

If its not possible for CRM can we do it in SAP R/3.

Systems:

R/3 Release: 620

Database : MSSQLSRV8

Oper. System : NT/INTELWI

mySAP CRM 4.0

Any suggestions or possible approaches is greatly appreciated.

Hi

I think maybe you need the Business Workplace. THis is an integrated part of the Web AS and has been for many years.

This is normally used now as a place to access Workflow Work Items, but it can be used for email (including private and shared folders).

You won't need to do any development.

You were right. But how can be move/transfer the email and folders (contents and structure) of outlook inbox to CRM workplace.

Pls advice.
