Can't display any BSP pages after upgrade.

Hi

We have implemented the latest SP and patches on our SRM 4.0 system, running on 6.40.

After the upgrade we can't display BSP pages any more. We get the same error message on them all:

<b>A string reference with destroyed context was destroyed</b>

If I go in ST22 we displays the error message: STRING_BAD_REF

What happened?

Error in ABAP application program.

The current ABAP program "CL_BSP_MODEL==================CP" had to be

terminated because one of the

statements could not be executed.

This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.

Have anyone experience anaything like this?

Help is appreciated

Best Regards

Morten

hello morten,

we have not the same problem but:

was 6.20 sp48 upgrading to sp 50 or 53..

after upgrading, all bsp sides were not looking like they did before. we suggest, that our base admins do not delete the various buffers in such a sap system. so the old versions in the buffer strike against the new one in code from sp nn.

the next try will come and i will tell you the result.

kind regards

OK, keep us up to date in order that Daniel might find it useful too.

Daniel,

Have your admin guy(s) run SGEN and let them check whether in SICF the service sap/public/bc/ur (unified rendering) is active.

I remember going through the same weird behaviour after patch installations. The ur service was deactivated.

My BSP started but no graphics displayed.

Activating the ur service again solved the issue.
