Time of BC Activation Jobs

I am activating a BC query with all objects before and after. The job has so far taken 3,500 seconds! That seems like a very long time to me, and it's still going.

Does anybody have any idea how long something like this should take? What if I activated the whole of CRM, would I be waiting 2 weeks?

I activated BC before at 3.0 (now on 3.5) and i don't remember it taking this long.
