Automatic backup

Hi experts,

We have stand alone SAP BW system, our database is MAXDB.I would like to schedule for Automatic backup from tocde /db13.I am getting an Error message:

Name and Server : SS1 - DENUC1

DBMRFC Function : DBM_CONNECT

Error : Communication Error

Error message : program dbmrfc@sapdb not registered / CPI-C error CM_ALLOCATE_FAILURE_RETRY.

would you please help me out.

Hi,

please take a look at note 831108, it represents an overview of the most typical known dbmrfc issues.

If neither of the notes seem to fit, I would urge you to open a message on the queue BW-SYS-DB-SDB.
