How does MSA HH recognize the availability of DB2 Everyplace?

how dows MSA HH recognize the availability of DB2 Everyplace? Do I have to make any configuration settings?

Had some problems getting DB2e running myself but I found a SAP Note ( NOTE 662794) that had a good explanation.

hi,

The application MSAHH has to be preconfigured with db2ee components. App will call methods on Interfaces exposed by MI and MI Internally will use db2e components(jars and dlls) to call methods.
