SRM-MDM-Catalog not displaying the Item list on the portal

Former Member

Hi,

I have loaded products in the mdm repository, but they are not appearing in the Catalog item list on the portal (i.e I am not able to see the Item list table). I can see the header of the Item list section showing 'found 87012 items of 87012 showing 1 of 10' And below that '0 items present in the cart'

Thanks in advance.

RK.

Hi RK,

I had faced this issue recently.

Please refer to the below link

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm701/helpdata/en/b5/d545e21e3941d5973c833f2d085715/content.htm.

The link points to activating a customizing switch CAT_701_UI_IMP.

You should be able to activate the switch if you logon to your portal as below

http://<your portallink>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc~mdm~srmcat~enabler/MDM_SRM_SWITCH_APP

Check with your basis guy they might be able to help you on this regard.

Hi Sapna,

The mentioned switch is related to PPS, but it was activated by our Basis team, now getting dump. How can we revert the activation?

Hi all,

the mentioned switch has nothing to do with PPS.

Activating CAT_701_UI_IMP will resolve the issue.

To resolve the dump, you have to import the new configuration XML attached to SAP note

1753440 - Activating SRM-MDM Catalog Enhancements

as I mentioned in my original answer.

Hi RK,

The dump was expected due to mismatch in the configuration file.

Timea is correct. The mentioned switch is not related to PPS in any way. Just Import the

configuration.XML as per the note to your repository. It should solve your  problem.

Hi RK,

Are you using any named searches or masks in your web service definition?

Hi,

Most probably

- you have products in the repository (Service Item = FALSE), but the catalog has been configured as Service catalog (Config UI, General tab)

- you are using SRM-MDM Catalog 7.01 or 7.02 and the UI Enhancement switches have not been activated.

About the second see following SAP notes:

1753652 - List View missing in SRM-MDM Search UI

1753440 - Activating SRM-MDM Catalog Enhancements

It would be nice if you could mark the answer as correct, if it resolves your issue.

Hi Timea,

The catalog is product catalog. And the mentioned are not applicable.
