Availability monitoring configuration with Solution Manager

Hi,

I heard that there is an option for configuring availability monitoring with Solution Manager 7.1

This does not involve the traditional method of CCMSPING. CCMS4x etc.

Please let me know if there are any documents for configuring availability monitoring with Solution Manager 7.1

Balaji,

You will need to install ccmsping for Availbility Monitoring. Then add the system to be monitored via RZ21 --> Technical Infrastructure --> Availbility Monitoring --> Configure CCMSPING Availbility Monitoring. Click Monitoring --> Create System

Here you will need to specify all the connection parameters like ports, message server name etc.
