Idoc to update legal regulation

Dear Experts,

     I need to update the legal regulation (LGREG) of the Product master in SAP GTS.

I'm getting the legal regulation as flat file from a 3rd party system, and my middle ware system can convert the file to IDOC.

But does SAP GTS has any standard idoc to update the legal regulation.

Hello Dhilipan,

        Thanks for your response.  We are trying to do our compliance checks at material master (Product master). So, we need to have legal regulation/ classification at material level. Here is the field LGREG from table /SAPSLL/PRCON that holds the value.

Hello Amit,

  The Standard SAP Program /SAPSLL/MAEX_UPLOAD_R3 can be used to update the Legal Regulation in Table /SAPSLL/PRCON.  The selection-screen has the option of providing input for Legal Regulation for Feeder system and GTS as well. It does update the field LGREG(Legal Regulation). Please find the screen shots bleow...Hope this helps..Kindly mark as answered, If you believe this the right solution for your task.

Updating Legal regulation in product master, do you mean you are updating ECCN for a particular legal regulation in  a product?

Hi Amit,

I hope you would have already checked this standard program /SAPSLL/ALNUM_UPLOAD_R3 which can be used to upload ECCNs. Was that working?

Unfortunately, me too didn't get any standard FMs . Will try to check it and let you know.
