error in GUI after installation of ABAP system WAS

hi,

i have installed the webas ABAP 6.40 system

now when i am going for the transaction se80 or in the spro i am getting the error :

"C:\perforce\bas\620_COR\src\fes\few\sapfewin\guifunctionality.xml contains an invalid path "

can you please suggest me how to resolve this.

Hi Uday,

Please look at OSS Note 684576, which explains this problem. It asks you to <u><b>"To resolve this issue, please intall the SAP Gui 620 final release with patch level 38 or higher."</b></u>

thanks...the problem got solved....

another one:

i have installed WAS(Abap+Java). and i installed EP on it.

now when i login to Ep as j2ee_admin i am not able to create a user in EP.

cna you suggest me as to how to resolve this...

Hi Uday,

How did you resolve the issue with 640? Did you have to install GUI Version 620 with patch 38?

It seems a bit bad to go back to a previous release!
