Employee responsibl​e ********ia not assigned to sales area xxxxxxxxxx

Hello Experts,

While creating Trade promotion am getting a error stating "Employee responsible ******* is not assigned to sales area xxxxxxxx"

Employee assigned to sales area, planning account has been assigned with the same sales area.
once creating the new trade promotion it's picking the "Sales organization" only, if i edit and gave Distribution channel and Division, then its throwing the error.

Pls help to resolve the error.

Hi Maddy,

To solve the problem,you need to assign your BP to the Position in the Organizational Model,just like the picture shows below.The customizing path is 【IMG-CRM-Master Data-Organizational Management-Organizational Model-Change Organizational Model】,and the T-Code is PPOMA_CRM.

You do not have to assign any sales area to the TP,it is assigned automatically.

Thank you for your response.

I have assigned the BP in org.  Once i start creating new TP, its picking only sales org & not dist channel and division, but So + DC +DIv is assigned to Sold to party which am assigning to TP  when i assign the SP to TP & when i update the complete sales are manually in TP, then its throwing error

Please help me to find where am lacking.

Hi Maddy,

Could you please check whether your Sales Area is mapped to the Trade Promotion Type. Because if this mapping is not there, you might get this error.

Thank you for you time.

I have assigned the sales area in WEB UI screen while creating the TP on Organization assignment area.

And please tell me whether i need to Map sales area some where else.
