Custom role assined to users , but not showing up

Hi,

I have created custom role, custom workset and page inside it and assigned to users. However this Role( or the menu) dosen't appear when those end users are loging into the portal. Any other Role provided by the Business package works fine.

The custom role contaois workset, which contain iviews/pages which are perfectly working when individually tested.

Please help. This is EP6.0 with CRM4.0 as back end.

Hi Arun,

There are 2 possibilities when a role is not displayed:

1. Entry point is not made "yes".

2. User is not attached to the role.

If you have done this, and still there is problem. Then I am not sure but browser caching can be problem, try to delete cookies and Temp. Internet files.

hi,

There is a property called Entry Point. Check whether it is selected 'yes'. If its no then the role will not be displayed for the user

have u checked... the default entry point for the role?
