Hi,
When I try to use a simple "FOR JSON" statement in IQ16 SP11, I get a syntax error message. I searched the documents and found that after IQ16 SP04 (see below) there is no IQ document mentioning "FOR JSON". However I couldn't find any note/document that says it is not supported anymore. How can I be sure about that?
The query I ran:
select * from test for json raw -- syntax error near "json"

Regards.
Hello Serkan: "FOR JSON" is supported in SAP SQL Anywhere, but not SAP IQ. There were some "FOR JSON" instances in the SAP IQ 16.0.x documentation in error that were removed back in 2014. (For reference, the tracking number for this documentation correction was CR 773889.)
Hope this helps,
John C.
