SOLMAN_SETUP error in step Create IBase Components for LMDB Systems

Hi dear Gurus,

    I'm in a fresh install of SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SPS07 AIX/DB2

On Basic Configuration PHASE Tab 5 Configure Automatically I have an error on step Create IBase Components
for LMDB Systems:

Category not found in hierarchy. 29.01.2013 20:32:15 SMP~ABAP~001 SOLMAN_ADMIN   status RED)

Object not found - will be created. (status Green)

    So the PHASE is marked as RED

   Can you help me solving this issue?

    I executed above mentioned activity but error is the same:

SOMAN_SETUP

    Basic Configuration

    5.- Configure Automatically

    Create IBase Components for LMDB Systems

        Failed to save object % 1 (Object family 7001). 30.01.2013 15:30:50 SMP~ABAP~001 SOLMAN_ADMIN   

No changes made; Saving not allowed SMP~ABAP~001 SOLMAN_ADMIN   

Object not found - will be created.

Hello Jose,

Please define the number range for ALM_OBJ_7001 and ALM_OBJ_7002 create the as per the note 1741109 step 1.

Attached you created group LMDB and CMDB to the element ALM_OBJ_7001 and ALM_OBJ_7002.

once you done rerun the step  "Create iBASE Component for LMBD".

Also please don't create multiple thred for same issue.

After following all the above steps I am still getting the error

"Failed to save object (Object family 7001)"

This is a fresh install of SM7.1 SP07

Anyone else struck this issue?

    You're right, after appying 1771809 error changed to

"Failed to save object (Object family 7001)"

I found note

Components is not working

  Report COM_PRODUCT_UPGRADE must be run --> SOLMAN_SETUP activity
  "Technically Upgrade Products" in step "Perform Standard
  Configuration"

But I can't find PATH:

SOLMAN_SETUP activity

"Technically Upgrade Products" in step "Perform Standard

Configuration"

Hi Joes,

You can find the path in Solman_setup > IT Service Management > 2.1 Configure Manually > Technical Upgrade Products
